Although the tracklist for Schoobloy Q’s forthcoming album, Oxymoron was revealed earlier this month, and did not include 50 Cent’s name, 50 revealed on Instagram that he will be appearing on Q’s album. However, Schoolboy Q was approached by Rap-up TV in regards to 50’s claim of being on his album, to which Q denied.

“We did a record. I know what record he’s talking about, but that didn’t make the album. “I wish he was on my album though. Like that’s 50 Cent, c’mon now. He’s the reason I’m really rapping. But I never even had the files to that record.”

During an interview with Angie Martinez, Q was asked about the 50 Cent collaboration again, and gave another description as to why he wasn’t included in the final tracklist.

“It just didn’t make it … I wish 50 Cent was on my album. That was one artist, him and E-40, that’s two people I wish I put on my album. It’s just so many records that I have, I had to pick and choose… and I felt that it didn’t fit as good as the other records I had.”

In addition, Q revealed that J. Cole produced a track for Oxymoron, which also did not make the final cut. Check out the two quick interviews below:
