Chief Keef has been under public scrutiny since the rumors surfaced that he impregnated a middle-schooler. The allegations were later reported to be false as the young girl was only two months younger than Keef. The lawsuit the girl filed for child support carried on, and eventually resulted in her favor.

Though Keef’s baby mama may no longer be a middle schooler, she apparently gave birth to their child in 2011 when the rapper was only fifteen years old. According to court documents, wiith a reported income of $13,000 a month, the rapper was ordered to pay $2,600 a month in child support. In addition he was ordered to pay $500 in day care expenses and over $10,000 in arrears for missed child support payments.

A hearing was set for August to finalize the set amounts. Keef was supposed to begin making payments in May, and according to filed legal documents, the mother claims to only have recieved $1,900 thus far and couldn’t support herself or her child without the payments. A judge then ordered the Chicago native to return to court in September to explain why he’s not up to date on his child support payments.

A failure to appear in court could leave Keef to have an arrest warrant issued or possible suspension of his license until payments are caught up.
