While doing promo for his forthcoming album, Extinction Level Event 2, Busta Rhymes revealed some details about the album.

During a recent interview with XXL, Busta Rhymes reveals some details about his new album, ELE2, and announced that Eminem and Mary J. Blige will be featured guests on the album, and that Kanye West, Q-Tip and Lil Wayne will also make appearances, and be featured on the first single.

Busta spoke on the Eminem featured track, which is titled “Calm Down,” and reveals that it is a battle type record:

I’ve got a six-minute record with Eminem that sounds like we are respectfully trying to battle each other in a way that you probably never heard us battle in our entire careers on a record. So it’s lot of real incredibly golden moments for us on this project.

The NY rapper announced the next single, “Thank You,” and reveals that it is self-produced and that it will feature Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Q-Tip.

I definitely want to say the next single I’m getting ready to drop is a record called ‘Thank You’ that I produced myself.

He adds:

It features Kanye West, it features Lil Wayne, and it features Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest. That’s definitely going to be one of the more immediate, eventful moments that you are gonna be able to experience from this phenomenal body of work.

Busta also noted that he has a song with Mary J. Blige titled “You Will Never Find Another Me.”

Extinction Level Event 2 is the sequel to Busta‘s classic 1998 release, Extinction Level Event: The Final World Front, and is slated for a November release.
