Grand Hustle artist B.o.B. has announced that has begun to work on the follow album to his very successful debut album The Adventures of Bobby Ray which debuted on the top of Billboard’s 200 album chart, selling 84,000 copies in its first week with three chart topping hit singles, “Magic” featuring Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo, “Nothin’ on You” featuring Bruno Mars and “Airplanes” featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore..
In a statement given to Detroit’s MLive.com, Bobby Ray said:
“I’m really excited about this one. You’re always excited about every project. But I really feel like I’m in my groove with this one. I’m more aware of myself as an instrument, as a sound. It’s more intentful.
As the Atlanta rapper continued, he speaks on his process of making songs as if he was performing the song live:
“I make music just to perform it. A lot of the thought process (of working on an album) goes into actually performing it.”
There hasn’t been a title or release date announced for B.o.B’s sophomore album as of this time.
