Proud of my Jets. Takes a lot of talent, skill, and luck to get to the SB (much less win it).
Steelers played the better game, we almost stole another one.

If anything, we shut the haters the entire fuck up.
Sanchez proved he’s a winner with multiple 4th quarter comebacks and outplayed Brady and Big Ben on the road. Can’t ask for much else, just didn’t get it done.

  Nah. Rex Ryan is just as much a fan of his own team as anybody else. He, along with many fans, believes that the people are in place for the Jets to compete for a SB, no matter the circumstances (beating 3 HOF QBs on the road).
  
  But any realistic person knows that it takes everything to go your way to make it that far. Everything went our way against NE, things (for the most part) went the Steelers way last night. If Revis catches that INT… then who knows what would have happened. If Sanchez doesn’t fumble (still looked like his arm was moving forward to me)… then who knows.
  
  Prime example is how the Giants beat the Pats in the SB a couple years ago. You can have all the talent in the world and be the best team in the league by far. But that’s not nearly enough to win it all.

  yeah your right, i was so happy when you guys beat the patriots cus everybody was doubting you guys, and at the end yall proved them wrong,i still think you guys are missing just another good player to compete for a SB, lets be honest, i think yall fucked up when ya let freeman go for Sanchez, cuz to this day i think freeman is and will be a better quaterback then Mark Sanchez.

  Yeaa Josh Freeman is the truth. He impressed me late in games as Sanchez did. Overall though, I’m still satisfied with Mark. The strides he made from last year to this year were really understated by the mainstream media.
  
  In his rookie year, we lost 4 games on game winning FG/TDs by the other team.
  This year, we won on 5 game winning TD/FGs (including the playoffs).
  
  Credit the organization for putting pieces around him to help him be successful, but Sanchez lead us to victory multiple times. And considering the QB position is the “weak” point of our team, that’s saying something. He’s VERY inconsistent, but he’s tied the league record for most road playoff wins… and he’s only played 2 years. I like to think that’s not by accident.
  
  And yes, we are in trouble as far as free agency goes. Ideally, we keep Holmes, Braylon, and Cotchery together for a couple more years. That would mean letting Brad Smith go (!!!!!!!!!!!) and letting Jason Taylor go. That also means we have to try our damn best to trade for a legit pass rusher. One thing we REALLY need.
  
  Sucks to have to be looking forward to next season when it just ended 15 hours ago lol.
