Rick Ross just dropped his Rich Forever mixtape, now he unleashes visuals for one of the stand-outs “Stay Schemin” featuring Drake and French Montana.

Does it sound like Drake’s sending some bars at Common in retaliation for “Sweet”?

What Drake said wasn’t hardbody, but it was poignant. And I think he spoke some truth. Drake detractors will naturally find a way to hate on it. If he doesn’t fire back- he’s be a b-tch. If he does fire back- he’s a b-tch ‘trying to act like he’s hard’. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t.

        Your logic fails because you’re trying to turn two separate arguments into one. Lyricism in a rap battle and Tough guy status in the rap world are two mutually exclusive ideas. Just because you succeed in a rap battle, regardless of who it is against, that doesn’t make you a tough guy. Likewise, you can be a tough guy and suck at battle rapping. Therefore, Drake, Common and everyone else should be judged on each independently. Can Drake rap? Yes. Is he tough? No. Can Common rap? Yes. Is he tough? No.
