    im a Boston and Chicago fan therefore i could give two fucks about what that overrated muhfucka says so excuse me for not getting a reference to someone i pay no attention to. if he wanted to do a NBA reference he shoulda done something wit Vince Carter and “its over” or Larry Bird and “who’s coming in second.” dont get at me about the NBA, professional basketball my crack.

      obviously you are not that big of a NBA fan if you think melo is overrated…he is probably the most versatile player in the league and one of the best pure scorers in the league

        versatile? hes an average defender at best. his assists are almost non existant. he doesnt rebound. hes not a team player. ill give you hes a terrific scorer but Rose and KD will pass him up very soon. theres a reason his teams have only made it to the conf finals once (where they got their asses handed to them), b/c all he can do is score. you see how Denver became a better team after he left

      do you watch the games or let the sportscasters mold your opinion? melo is a good passer and is top 3 in his position at rebounding. his defense is inconsistent; he needs the right coach or a big guy who could anchor the d. paul pierce and ray allen werent known as good defenders until kg showeded up. funny how you say melo is overrated then mention vince carter who is the poster boy of being overrated.
      
      its also funny how you worded this: “denver became a better team after HE LEFT.” NO, denver became a better team bc of who the knicks gave to them –three starters. losing billups wasnt a big deal bc they were dying to get ty lawson in the starting lineup, so they basically gave up one starter for three; that is why they did well. and where are they know anyways? they lost in the 1st round just like the knicks. the knicks, on the other hand, prob played the best team in the league in the 1st rd.

        actually, i end up muting games a lot i cant stand commnentators (minus Sir Charles Barkley, dudes hilarious). and i just watched Melo play 4 games and i think hes overrated. i looked up his stats and he is a decent rebounder but i stand by the rest of my allegations. good passing doesnt mean assists b/c he only averages like 3 a game. imma have to disagree on Pierce, hes always been a well rounded player. KG helped his D but Pierce is severely underrated (top 5 Celtics of all time and thats saying a lot considering the legends theyve had).
        
        yea Denver got some good players but compared to what NY got everyone was saying they got the better deal… til they started playing. yea they lost in 1st round but atleast they put up a fight (plus they were robbed one game when a goaltending wasnt called, that could have changed the outcome of the series).
        
        is there some rule somwhere that you cant like two teams that i dont know about? my fams always been Boston fans and i grew up watching MJ (plus im from Illinois) so i like Chicago too. Celtics are my fav team tho

        i am a knick fan, so im most likely being a lil bias, but aside from kd being a lil better defender than melo, they are just about the same player. i think the media paints one darker cause they see melo as more of a “nigger,” and kd is the type of guy stern would like to market.
        
        knicks put up a fight those first 2 games..idk what happened games 3 and 4. i dont like d’antoni. he should be an assitant, imo, not a head coach.
        
        ppl said knicks got the better deal bc they ended up with the best player in the trade. i think denver is gonna lose chandler and felton is def gone after his contract is up at the end of next season. no way he resigns to be ty lawsons back up. i would rather have the knicks scoop him back up (instead of cp or dwill) and use the rest of that loot on a big dude.
