    @My2Cents With singles like “Words I Never Said” and “Black Everything” hpw can you say he stated his views on politics just for attention? Lupe has a pretty decent fan base. I will admit Lasers wasn’t his normal run of the mill Lupe album, but he did have some decent singles on it like the ones I just named.

        I can look at it the way you are. I guess you are correct to an extent. Can’t really argue or debate with that because you make a valid point. To be honest I only been listening to Lupe for maybe a year or 2. Never knew he been around since 08 or even since Bush was president. Again, all mainstream news is a set up for ratings. I agree the whole broadcast was to make money and raise ratings. I just feel his views on politics are still authentic. Again very good insight and point…

        Maybe he feels betrayed because Obama’s whole campaign was about so called “Change,” but in reality Obama is not doing many things different with foreign affairs that what Bush has done or would have done. Lupe is a sell-out. There is no way in hell after making ridiculously lyrically mixtapes, Food and Liquor, The Cool, and a MANIFESTO for your next album saying it’s against the persecution and dumbing down of society that you make this crap with Trey Songz.

And the only reason why people call Lupe on his bull is that when this entire country was going to hell and was much worse off, he didn’t say anything, but now he wants to conveniently dis Obama??
