Lupe Fiasco layed down a freestyle last night in his hometown of Chicago letting everyone know that he’s the best there is.

About 4 minutes into his set, Lupe spit:

“When you’re done Watching The Throne, turn around and watch me, when you’re done with the Carter 4 come back to me for more, when you’re done with that Drake, no, I ain’t trying to hate but I’m back up on my grind and I’m about to skaaaaate on these ni**as!”

He added:

“Put it on your blog and your tumblrs on your twitters that Lupe said that he’s the best, NI**A.”

  Lupe is the most lyrically inclined rapper to ever grace the game, by a landslide… One of the greatest poets of all time. Maybe if people would take what rappers are actually saying in their songs into consideration, he would get the credit he deserves, but people listen to rap for beats and not words and that’s why hip-hop died.
