During his appearance on MTV’s RapFix yesterday, Lupe Fiasco previewed a new track entitled, “Lamborghini Angels” off his up coming LP, Food & Liquor 2.

Before he previewed the track, Lupe breaks down the concept of F&L2.

Lupe spits the verse for “Lamborghini Angels” at about the 5:10 point of the video.

Not too many artists can do that. Get caught off guard and asked to spit a verse for a song that’s probably still being tweaked. Nas is more lyrical based on seniority for argument sake because they are both on par in my opinion and a testament to Nas for still not loosing a step with his rap skills after 20 years. That’s saying something. In my opinion right now Lupe is the only mainstream artist that can deliver an Illmatic-like caliber album. Ya don’t start naming The House Gang cause those are my dudes or Em or anyone else. This is based on the content of the music and subject matter being rapped about.
