Last night to a packed house in Toronto, J.Cole gave a live performance of “God’s Gift” which appears on his forthcoming LP, Cole World: The Sideline Story, which is slated for a September 27th release.

In Tekk’s less-than-stellar review of Game’s RED Album he claimed that album was the most anticipated hip-hop album in years… yeah um, sorry buddy, but I don’t think there’s a hip-hop fan alive that was looking forward to that album more than J.Cole’s debut. 23 days.
tha carter iv was the most anticipated album – just because he has a million haters it doesnt change facts. because the fact is…
the most ANTICIPATED album will get the most sales, straight up. hate dont change facts. now continue to disrgard my factual statements & hang from coles nuts and say his album is most anticipated, there’s no logical debates with haters

when we say most anticipated album we mean among us hardcore hip hop fans. if you wanna say most anticipated album in pop music then yea
im not too sure that’s not a fantastical statement (bizarre) … real hip hop fans? im pretty sure wayne is hip hop, only pop song on c4 was how to love & it was a great marketing move
what you guys do is make up shit to degrade an artist you dont like, tha carter iv was/is the most anticipated hip hop album of 2011.
fact

naw dwhite that’s where i disagree with you, he said real hiphop heads not overall mainstream,…so if you ask the defsounds vets or hiphopdx vets which album they anticipated the most, it would be between slaughterhouse and j cole,..shit i deff took a listen to carter 4 not gonna lie, but i def did not anticipate it at all,..so to true hiphop heads carter 4 was not the most anticipated album of the year.
nah bro, think about it. every single hip hop fan was anticipating c4 whether with good intentions or bad
ppl that like real rap still remember c1 & c2 (classics – if yall dont like that word then very good albums) so deep down we wanna kno what it’s hittin for
fact is, c4 was anticipated by mainstream & by hardcore alike – whether for praise or for hate

yes i feel where you coming from,…hate = anticipation,…but still even though i was curious to hear what wayne would come out with, (notice curious is the word, to be blunt i did not anticipate it) it still does not compare to the anticipation i feel for the debuts of j cole and slaughterhouse and i think i speak for villan and other hardcore hip hop fans. I mean to tell you the truth i feel like i live in another world b/c the feeling i had waiting for c3 to come out, doesn’t even resemble any remote emotions i had towards c4 coming out,..ya feel me,…its like a complete different artist came out with c4
Sounds like an absolute banger.. “Put money over bitches but we still the underdogs..”
ooooolalala
as a fan i feel like ive been waitin for this moment for my whole life..its like im apart of cole..fan from day 1 n tired of tellin niggas he the fuckin truth!! Cole World!!
Thomas
Overrated… dudes fans make him out to have way too much credibility and he hasnt even dropped an album…

So far in my opinion, Cole has the line of the year so far- “On to the new, on on to the new shit…Jigga Wouldn’t Even Take My CD, When They See Me, Two Years Later, Bitch We Made It On On To The Blueprint! …How’s that for persistence…”
