J.Cole Debuts 2 New Songs “Man On Fire,” “Crooked Smile,” And Freestyles Over “Dead Presidents”

Last night during Footaction’s “Own The Night” event at the W Hotel in Hollywood, J. Cole debuted 2 brand new songs, and laid down a new freestyle.

The first song performed by Cole is called ”Man On Fire,” the second is entitled ”Crooked Smile,” and he also spit a new verse over the “Dead Presidents” instrumental with Ron Gilmore on the keys.

  he has been dropping some nice shit lately. im still listening to Im a Fool, Visionz of Home and The Cure. i hope he drops a dope album cuz while Sideline Story was good i thought it coulda been better

    He had to compromise a lot for the label. After selling 200k+ first week… they’re gonna give him more leeway this go ’round. Combine that with him getting sharper and more confident on the mic… and we’re looking at a good sophomore album. I said it after his first album though and I’ll say it again… I think on his third album he’s really going to find himself and produce a standout.

      I have to disagree. Second album gonna be classic (Something you can play without skipping a track). His mixtape was a classic and the reason his first album wasn’t because we fans heard half the album before he dropped it. So by time the album came out we didn’t want to hear the old songs. Trust me, this dude next album gonna be crazy, and you can tell by the tracks he came out with post Sideline story! I can’t understand how in this generation people hold 2 CHAINS, LIL WAYNE, DRAKE, MEEK MILLS….all them over COLE. He just came out at the wrong time but I’m a true hip hop head so FAck it! COLE WORLD!
