    New clothes and beats dont equate to having money. If Buck wanted some gear for a video shoot I’d send him shit cause its good free promo for my brand. Same with producers who dont charge to work with him. Everybody makes beats you can get em anywhere, the beat game is flooded so shits cheap if not free.
    
    Also you have to look into who is makin the profits from albums that come out. I personally know the label head who put out Th* R*hab. They pay the artist a flat fee, generally in the range of 10-20k and they sit in a studio for two days and record the firts 10 songs that come out and fill it with an intro track and outro track and thats the project. Not exactly an “All Eyez On Me”.
    
    The label does good because well just do the numbers on how much sales they need to break even on the investment and then every sale above that is profit.
    
    Im still a Buck fan and dont really care if rappers have big bank or not, Im just into the music. But you cant assume who has money because of what you see in a music video or a photo shoot.
    
    Music should be in to categories: FICTION or NON-FICTION like books.
