      no lie, it does take a couple listens for the album to actually start hitting you. productions bananas, the only thing i dont like is how kanye seems like hes not takin the album that serious and his lyrical content is really sub par, jay comes on just bout every song. other than lift off, every song on here is pretty much fire. murder to excellence, why i love you, and niggas in paris are the best songs on the album.

    The only thing that brings it down is that either I love the song or I have no interest in listening to it.
    
    Like, why would I listen to Otis if I could listen to No Church in the Wild? Idk.

The album is alright,I don’t know why people thought this was gonna be that greatest album ever. The production is amazing,lyrically its aight.There was not a song in the album that had me repeating just to hear the lyrics,but it does have some lines here and there. The deepest/best song in the album is New Day,Ye really poured his soul in to that one.

This is really bad. How can anyone think this is classic? You’ve heard Reasonable Doubt, Vol. 1, Blueprint, College Dropout, etc?; you know what they’re capable of right? Hov rhymed “too” & nothing else for 3 straight bars… really? The god MC raps like wacka flocka now? I feel like a fool for hyping Jay from 95-03.     this album is classic for many reasons. 1st album in this era not to get leaked and will possibly set the “blueprint” for future record companies to copy.
    
    2…because its jayz and kanye west together on an entire album. these 2 have CONSISTENTLY made great music. (numbers dont lie)
    
    3…because its REAL music on these tracks. not basic hooks and corny punchlines that barney could think of. you people r so used to that shit they play on worldstar and on the radio, not to mention that bullshit lil wayne raps about that u forget what hip hop is about. its about telling a story and painting pictures. shit even when biggie and jay rapped about coke they made u see what they were saying. it was real.
    
    4. because the hype alone will send it into legendary status. look at all the people talking about this. they really had no promotion. all they said was they are making an album. and got the whole hip hop world on its toes. otis dropped and everyone jumped on the track. never saw that with royce and em’s album
    
    5. the concert and videos to follow based on these guys’ track record will take it to another level. this album will def grow on anyone. and 5 years down the line or 20 years down the line, u will want to hear 2 of the greatest artists of all time on a whole album 2gether.
