Slaughterhouse enlist Fat Joe for the official remix to “Goodbye,” which they release in dedication to Chris Lighty, who just passed away last week. The “Goodbye” remix also features a new verse from Joell Ortiz.

The song originally is one of my favorites off the album. But this (remix) is whack. Recycled the same verses from Joe and Crook? C’mon.. And considering Royce wasn’t on the original, he should’ve been on the remix. Fat Joe hada decent Chris Lighty tribute but overall, disappointed.

how could chris lighty just give up like that? he paid almost all of the irs money, 330,000 more to go down from 5 million. his wife left him, i feel your pain. why take a shot gun to your head doe! come on, why not over doze on pills, it is not fair to the ppl who have to clean you up…..no disrespect, i had a friend who jumped in front of a metro train, they got it all on cam, and no one really knows why. people give up to easy now a days. i don’t think their is a god but the bible says if you kill yourself, no way your getting into the kingdom of heaven, worse then murder, sleeping with animals, and being gay. even doe i don’t think their is a god, i could always change but that is something im not willing to do, because im scared to burn forever. r.i.p. don cornelius, from soul train who also kill him self at 75

take it for what it is. 2 new verses in deadication to man who just passed. this is real music kids.

This was lazy and the track suffers for it. They could have easily left off Joe & Crooked’s verses and put in a verse from Royce. Far Joe did ok and Joell killed it but then the recycled verses from the original kinda mess it up.

lol Yes I agree that this remix a little weak but Crook verse and Ortiz original verse were the best ones. Damn near felt both of those verses.
