Purchase on iTunes: Slaughterhouse Ft. Eminem: Throw That
It was ite… thought it was a bit annoying tbh, gonna go back and give ‘on the house’ another listen
Is this D12 or SLAUGHTERHOUSE?
eminem, n slaughterhouse(joe budden, crooked i, joell ortiz, Royce Da 5 9)
LMAO I see what Eminem is up too now.
its not the usual type of track you expect from SH but i could appreciate the variety. the whole album cant be on serious topics na’imsayin… i love truth or truth type tracks or even the Sucker Mc’s on the on the house mixtape. but a track like this showcases the chemistry and fun they have in the studio..so im excited to hear the whole project as a whole… i give it a 7/10
4/10 at best.
i just wanna take time to thank Whitefolks…you been on your job lately..i been coming to this website a long time because..its quailty over quanity on defsounds…keep griding cuz yall doing a hell of a job on this website!
Song is whack.
wack on the official mjbll hate meter….lol
Most accurate meter in the business.
More like most Bias, one dementional opinion meter in the business, gimme a break, lol!!!!
You’re not the sharpest tool in the shed are you?
Bro….. it dont fool me….all you do is come on this site and hate on recrds for attention, and being alot of ppl like who they like,it starts controversy….then u say some old philosophical BS to confuse the ppl on this site, that make it seem u know evrything about hip-hop…..but going back to your last couple posts,u dont fool me cause u obviously got your lil biases as well homey…ur act is up with me brotha, lol………
I wouldn’t say it’s “whack” it is very “D12 World” though. This is why TDE is superior to slaughterhouse. Slaughterhouse IS pretty damn entertaining though.
This song is trash, no one’s ever going to listen to it again and everyone knows it.
So Eminem takes part of a song called syllables where him, Jay Z, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent all make fun of rappers who make songs who just rap about cars, girls, and money. Then here’s the kicker he get’s involved with slaughter house and makes a song that talks about putting the dick on girls. The hypocrisy. LOL.
*cuts up Truth or Truth and Joe’s verse on Gone*
Great Song, Old D12 style but I like it
this shit not them!!!!! well i mean…. its them but, not their style… but guess what its hot!!!! lol!!!!
Yall dont like it cause its mainstream…thats so predictable….i was waiting for this from you so called “REAL-HIP-HOP HEADS” Yeah right……….
love it!!!!! i throw this dick on your girl…..! lmatfo!!!!!!! what a cool ass song! mjbll you mad as fuck…!!! i know one thing this song better then the MOTTO lmao!!!!
i figured budden and crooked probably weren’t too happy about how this album turned out and budden made that clear on twitter today.
JoeBudden Weird how the 1st Slaughterhouse album has become such a novelty to me as of late…..
lmatfo!!!!!! i love how you got all that out of him saying that.. hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!! niggas read to to to much into shit
It’s obvious Joe hates the album. Shut up if you don’t know what you’re talking about. Listen to his verse on “Gone” and how someone at the label edited it so he wouldn’t get in trouble for talking bad about the situation. Listen to Joe on blog TV talk about how they recorded amazing songs for the album that got ignored and how the mainstream trash on the album were just concepts they were toying with for potential singles.
Joe is VERY frustrated with Shady Records right now, I’d bet everything on it. Don’t respond with those hostile exclamation points either, I’m not about that life.
edit: His verse was originally, “We were so cuttin’ edge, won’t let a label or subsidiary cut the edge, my address is the flucking ledge.”
He needs to stop bitching. This was bound to happen when signing with one of the once upon a time most successful labels in hip hop. And with Yela’s album flopping on the mainstream, they NEED this to get as much commercial appeal as possible. Hence, songs like this and Throw it Away.
Big deal. Their fans are MORE THAN happy with the mixtape, and I’m sure the album won’t be that bad either…
Joe at one point said they recorded A TOP TEN ALBUM OF ALL TIME! It went from that to him not even caring about the album because of how much bullshit they included on it. This is what Slaughterhouse was created to go against. Listen to “Move On” again jaff jaff. I’m glad we got the mixtape to hear a little bit of the good stuff and I’m looking forward the hearing the good stuff on the album. I’m just saying somebody at Shady fumbled this one big time.
Record labels don’t give a fuck about “Greatest albums of all-time”. They care about “highest selling albums of all-time, or AT LEAST, the year”. This isn’t ’01-’06. When it was Shady/Aftermath/G-Unit’s reign. Everything Eminem or 50 touched, it’d turn to gold. Every Dre beat was fire and an instant hit. Eminem is starting from scratch, and he’s already 0 for 1.
Record labels want what’s “hot” right now. And what’s that?
“Rack City”, “Wild Boy”, “ASS”, “Beez in the Trap”, “The Motto”, “Spaceships”, etc. IDK why, but it is. “BBB” and “Hard White” were >>>>> than those songs both production wise and lyrically, but were nowhere near the appeal. Em is trying to get SH commercial appeal. something to get them buzzing. Something that’s fucking catchy. “Throw this dick on you girl”, “I’ll throw this dick on you girl”… Kinda catchy… No?
I’m not arguing about the dumbed down content, or commercial ass album. I’m just saying, Joey should have known this was coming and drop all the frustration. Maybe if the album sells well, the record label will back off a bit. Kinda like Lupe and 1/15. Lasers was pure commercial and NOT original lupe. But it did well, and they backed off. Now Lupe can create his own material, and is doing a fantastic job. Feel me?
I agree with what you said Jaffar, I made the same argument about Cole a couple weeks ago. What I’m saying is they could have dropped “Our House” or “Juggernauts” as the first single for the album and it would have built sooooo much buzz for the album because it appeals to both Eminem fans and hardcore SH fans. I know people who only know about SH because of Eminem and “Goodbye” is their favorite song right now.
I personally think they didn’t have to go as mainstream as they did, but we’ll see if it works for them. I’m going to buy to show my support anyway.
correct me if im wrong… but this isnt the first SH album
stop bitching!!!! you dont like the song then just don’t listen to it!!!
You have to listen in order to know you don’t like something. And once you realize that all the artist did was subject your eardrums to trash… you have every right to bitch. But don’t worry… we won’t be listening to the song anymore.
alex what the hell you talking about?????? no money, no cars , they talking about fucking bitches… you not down with that???? i give this song a 7 out of 10 but giving all the other hot songs they put out this song don’t change shit…
I give it a 7/10 too….but its obvious its a radio record……..
I’m down with getting girls, but if there going to rap about fucking bitches then what was the point of making a song like syllables.
Its a cool track only because I expect some ish like this, they tryna hit that mainstream success, cool, on the house is for us, welcome to our house is for them, these niggas been in the game for so long so i cant hate
Eminem trying to make Slaughterhouse into D-12… This isn’t that great, but not bad.
*Puts on On The House again*
its an ok track… sure it doesnt have the aggressive dark sound that the tracks on the first album had but its not a terrible song at all
Nobody cares that Joe Budden doesnt like the album, he can go solo himself and nobody would recognzie that emo fag anyway except for his dick rider Dedication3.
