  You know Ded, I’m glad you’re able to find the silver lining in all this, but I just listened to the CD. 5 out of 10 bro. More or less average all around. No real standout tracks. I think ‘Our House’ is the best track. That’s really all there is to it bro.

    But I hear you. I’m disappointed the album was so weak, but at least they were able to give us a couple gems. (You don’t like Rescue Me or The Other Side though???)

      Honestly, I only gave it one spin. There were a few other songs that I thought had potential. It’s just that songs really have to jump out at me right away. I usually know within a few seconds if I dig something. Anyway, I’m gonna give it a few more listens and I’ll get back to you. I’ll be sure to listen to all those you mentioned.

      All right. so ‘Park It Sideways’ and ‘Rescue Me’ are good. ‘The Other Side’ is solid. ‘Place To Be’ just isn’t for me (too Joe). ‘Get Up’ is average to me. And ‘Our Way’ is pretty good. ‘Goodbye’ is also cool, but we already heard that one.
      
      It’s like this: I’ll definitely listen to several of these songs from time to time… but none of them amount to those songs that are so dope you just put Itunes on repeat and within two days you realize it’s already one of your Top 25 Most Played Songs Of All Time.
      
      The CD is by no means bad. And is better than most of what’s already out (they can easily claim a Top 5 Hip Hop album this year) but overall… there’s just nothing special about it.

i think this album is dope for how much i was hating on throw it away and throw that. but besides those two songs they did a great job of mixing the great lyricism into dope crossover hits while integrating what got them here. all around good album from Slaugherhouse and along with the mixtape they showed they havent fell off at all
