  Ok, I will put this to you lightly oh cumbersome one. lol I read about this earlier this morning, well actually late last night when Rand Paul posted it on his FB page. The Senate had a bill waiting to be voted on as you saw in this video. Rand Paul forced the vote last night and amended it or whatever. He BLOCKED the bill and is still fighting for our freedoms. Yes, you are right, this Bill is crazy and will put the Patriot Act to shame definitely.

  But yes, I knew this shit would happen YEARS ago. I’ve been busy this week and wasn’t paying attention so I didn’t even know it would being voted on this week. It’s PATHETIC they did this shit with EASE. Fuck my life.
  
  To the people unaware of what is going on:
  The government just passed a bill that labels you as a terrorist based of traits such as how much food you keep in your home. They can label you as a terrorist, send you off without any type of warrant or conviction, and hold you indefinitely. The constitution just got ripped into a million pieces.

    The amendment in that part of the bill was BLOCKED by Rand Paul. That was the purpose of we he did, he blocked that portion of the bill with the voice call, in which the amendment was defeated, 41-59. The bill may have passes “not sure,” but that part of the bill DID NOT pass!

    The overall bill passed and set the precedent to take it further in the future. They wouldn’t be able to roll that out NOW, but what about if 5 years?

    The problem with Ron Paul is his admiration and love for Ayn Rand. She was a moron to the highest degree.
    
    Another criticism is he is a supporter of Austrian Economics. I did like 6 hours of research on the subject and found that although at it’s core, Austrian Economics ignores scientific method and prefers deductive methodology, the few Austrian enthusiasts (Ron Paul and his former economic advisor, Peter Schiff) predicted the economic collapse with amazing precision while getting laughed at to their face.
    
    I’m going to read a book on Austrian Economics next month, but as of right now, I see that train of thought as a positive.
