        in lupes interview he even says hes gone in on the beat a few times before, so i was right

        but that wasnt enough and needed a new spin on a classic, and be bigger than
        just going over the same beat as he did on the mixtape tracks. “Go
        back and take one of the iconic records of Hip Hop and put a new spin on it and
        put it back out there. I spit on it a couple times before, some mixtape stuff
        back in the day, Chill felt it needed a bigger look than that.”

        you think Pete Rock’s pissed, b/c Lupe changed his beat, he wasnt pissed when
        he free’d over it, he’s pissed bc he sampled and changed it. Listen to them
        both, if you got ears you can tell its different besides the horn riffs.

Man i’ve been a lupe fan since his mixtapes but smh this is a straight bite who ever the producer is homie got no respect for the elders in this culture especially it being one of the TOP producers of the culture…its called respect ppl..but lupe did do his thing

Lol @ all the Lupe stans that said he lost it when Lasers dropped even though he purposely dumbed it down… He never left, just tried to pull some of the stupider fans towards his music, it was a good idea, but he didnt get much appeal, and stupid people will remain stupid when you light the fire once more.
