i avoided listened to this when it first leaked. so i’m hearing for the first time. it’s average to me. oh well. hope the rest of the album is fire but in all honesty i think it’ll be a 6/10. Which I consider good. But

…I don’t think it’ll be a classic album. Good, not great. All good though. I actually think Cole is going to GROW into a classic album. By his third album I think he’ll reach the level of greatness he’s capable of. It just takes time. I wish everyone would stop saying Classic before an album comes out. How often does it live up? Virtually never. And then we all just end up disappointed. I’d rather say I hope the album is what Cole wants it to be.

  I hear what you saying bruh but how often do we get a HIP HOP ARTIST( Not rapper) like J COLE. Also, Cheer up, Can’t get Enough(Commercial track), LOST ONEs and Lights PLEASE are all CLASSIC sounding tracks. So yea, I think the album is going to be a CLASSIC!

Yeah I think the word ‘Classic’ has become meaningless at this point. A classic has to be more than a good song. When I think of classic rap songs about women I think of ‘How’s It Goin’ Down’ by X, ‘The Light’ by Common and ‘Do For Love’ by Pac. This song doesn’t come close for me. I don’t see myself listening to this song in 20 years. But if you do, hey, more power to you. I do think Lights Please is a very good song. Haven’t listened to Lost Ones. I’m not listening to any leaks.

Na DT… If you actually listen to all that man’s material. I think he don’t get no where enough credit. Yea he a baby in the game that’s why I wouldn’t compare him to anyone that has a real name in HIP HOP, but the do is just GREAT at a young age and have the potential to be one of the ALL-TIME GREATS.
