    Um, okay…? You love Gorrilaz..cool. this track is still garbage with 3 Stacks as the only saving grace… Just because you like an artist doesn’t mean everything they did or will do, is dope. This is partially why Wayne is a big as he is. Too many niggas saying yes and not enough saying no because anytime anyone says “no” they’re a “hater”. Eat a bag of baby dicks and then stfu yourself.

  I was some what of an old Outkazt fan, but never was “Big” on Andre 3000. I just don’t see all the hype about the dude. How can people sit 3+ minutes listening to nonsense just to hear a subpar 3 Stacks verse? lol. You’re right, I will never listen to this shit again, actually I didn’t I skipped to 2:11… Others seem to have enjoyed it A LOT though. I much rather listen to Take Care and Thank Me Later front to back on repeat for a week straight, before listening to this shit EVER.

    Damn. Yeah. I don’t understand the hype surrounding 3000 either. I think he’s found this niche between pop and hip-hop that just allows everyone to love him. Impressive in itself but the actual music doesn’t impress me. I think people just call all his verses ‘dope’ and say ‘he killed it’ because he’s eccentric and doesn’t rap about the usual stuff. He’s like a backpack rapper with a bigger, flashier appeal (not unlike Kanye)… so everyone is drawn to him. Real talk though, the things he says aren’t that clever or hot. Outkast, however, does have some of the dopest songs in hip-hop history.

      Man…I agree with everything you said EXCEPT about 3k…which looking back at it is pretty much your whole post, lol….too each his own though. I just don’t get how you can say Outkast has the dopest songs in hip hop history and NOT think 3k is nice. Big Boi of course is nice too but personally I think 3k is slightly better. I guess you are saying when they are both together, magic happens. On THAT I will agree. 3k by himself still kills it…just not this song which is an physics anomaly cause it suck and blows at the same time.

        Lol. All I’m saying is that 3000 doesn’t have bars that are mind blowing (on the level of Crooked/Jay-Z/Budden) nor does he make music that resonates very deeply (on the level of Budden/Lupe/Roots). He just makes poppy songs and talks about eclectic stuff. I don’t find that impressive. Can you think of any standout bars that 3000 really had solo? As for Ourkast, yes, they had great SONGS. But I don’t think their bars were all that ridiculous. And I always found Big Boi to be average and 3000 to be a bit above average, albeit having that cool/unique IT factor. I really think he’s more style than substance is what I’m saying. Go really listen to his actual words and tell me what’s so special about him. F.Y.I my favorite verse by him is from ‘Art of Storytelling Part 4′ and, though I like it, nothing about it is mind blowing.
