      Relapse was the only album people criticized Em being “Wack” as you say. Other than that every album he put out is pretty solid and sold millions upon millions. Even Relapse is platinum… and is the only Em album I don’t have lol.

        The only reason some people think Relapse is “wack” is because of the accent. If you’d actually listen to it instead of just hearing it you’d realize how good it is lyrically. The masses were simply not ready for it. Shit I wasn’t either. But after I got used to it I started to enjoy it a lot more. If you can get over the accent you’ll see it for what it really is, if you can’t then you won’t, and you’ll never like it. With that said, to me it’s still near the bottom of the list pertaining to his work, but on a grand scale it kicks the shit out of all the real wack hip-hop albums out there.

    I dunno, I appreciated Recovery for its Lyrical quality and how it wasn’t his old crazy shit. This could possibly be because I am older now and like the way his style evolved, but this is just my opinion. I like older Em as much as I like newer Em. His lyrics are always tough, but he has his Pop feel also and mainstream acts.
