Drake drops off a new leak,“Trust Issues,” from I’m guessing his upcoming LP, Take Care, as it says in the ID tag of the track, unless it’s just a throwaway from the album that was recorded during the Take Care sessions. Drake will release the 1st official single from Take Care in July.

  This is definitely not a recycled verse. This was recorded before “im on one”, he just decided to use that chorus for I’m on one. Thats why this track leaked, because now its a throw a away.

  if you faggots would stop worrying about trying to only like unknown rappers and hate on popular artists you might actually see that for a throwaway track this is better than 80% of the shit most artists these days put on their album. okbye crooked is in my top 5 but that doesn’t mean i can’t chill out to a smooth ass r & b song with some relaxed rapping on it. not everything needs to be hard ass lyrical shit. there’s different styles for different moods, settings, etc. and this shit is dope, even though you won’t admit it because you need to keep your hardcore facade intact.

    Seriously? How could you have possibly read what I wrote and get THAT from it? I didn’t say ‘no one knows their way around an R&B track like Drake.’ I said he knows his way around a MELODY! Meaning he knows his way around cadence and the construction of an R&B song. I think we can all agree Drake can’t really sing (this shit is autotuned out). But he can and does write the hell out of an R&B tracks for others because he’s got an excellent ear for the medium.

        You clearly struggle with reading comprehension. I didn’t say he was the best writer, or that he was better than any of those you mentioned. I DID say he was a good writer, which WAS meant to compliment what I said prior to that: That no one knows their way around an R&B melody like him. That doesn’t mean he’s the overall best, but his songs continually please the ear moreso than any other ‘R&B’ artist in the game right now.
        
        You clearly don’t like the dude so just stop talking because you’re not even close to objective. Drake is far from my favorite rapper, let alone artist, but I respect that he’s found a lane/niche and he does it very well.

I DID say that Drake writes good music, and that WAS meant to compliment my statement that no one writes better HYPNOTIC MELODIES than Drake. Yes that is a matter of opinion, but his track record speaks for itself. Almost no one has more people grooving to R&B laced tracks than Drake right now, and he has a unique sound that draws people in. Drake is far from my favorite rapper, let alone favorite artist or singer, but I recognize his talent. He’s found a niche/lane and he’s done well with it.
        
        It’s pretty clear that you’re not a big Drake fan, and that you’re not anywhere close to objective in your thinking. Think before you speak.

  well the difference is that auto-tune takes no skill to use. Its called “auto_tune” for a reason, it automatically tunes your voice with ease. With audio editing you have to sit down infront of a program that takes skill to use and carefully use the right affects to compliment his voice. So in the end result, you get a good sounding voice that had to take some time and skill to get right. Its almost like ragging on a photo of a dirty beach that was Photoshop to make it look like a clean beach. Are you going to diss the photoshop artist that digitally cleaned the beach just because the beach was originally dirty? I hope this clear it up for you and you are right, this site does have a lot of hate and I am one of the most hated members because I keep it real. And of course because i like lil wayne lol

Auto tune or audio editing zzzzzz whats the difference? I’m not hating on the fact the dude is a singer sure he can sing one hell of a pop/R&B song. When people say Drake is the hottest rapper out or say he one of the best lyricists or writers, people need to get their head checked.   rappers use editting programs to sound clear.. Meek Millz for example when he uses heavy P’s its not bass cluttered, its more treble and as a person who owns a microphone and has audio eddited and used auto tune, i can tell the difference, but people think all auto tune is that t-pain shit… no. Charles hamilton used auto tune and still sucked ass at it. and vocoders is another way to synthesize a voice
