Drake’s problem = 45%-70% of the beats on his album will have the same sound. It’s not like kanye,timbaland, or dre who have signature sounds. It’s that every beat 40 creates sounds the same. Imagine this, what if Drake didn’t tell 40 that “ay man could u not produce for a bunch of other artists, just keep it exclusive” Because if multiple rappers were to rap on these 40 beats (which are pretty simple, yet dope) then Drake would be obsolete. Because lyrically Drake doesn’t have a wide range of topics; its either random punchlines, or venting. That’s it! Not going to say he isn’t a good artist and his songs are wack cuz they aren’t, but he needs to switch it up. Needs to do it quick to because 9/27 is coming soon; and another nigga might take his spot.
