50 Cent previously released a preview clip of the video of his new record; now he releases the full track entitled “We Up” that features Kidd Kidd and Kendrick Lamar.
Yep, now 50 Cent has not only gone bar for bar with Eminem (multiple times) but Kendrick Lamar as well. RESPECT THE LEGEND, HATERS! Btw can we get a download link, @Whitefolks? I can see how Kendrick Lamar and Kidd Kidd were in a group once, I’d like to hear these two collab again no doubt.
Dont wanna put it in the post: http://www41.zippyshare.com/v/28616242/file.html
Works for me bruh
50′s the shit yo
i love him
This my shit instant replay
Yessir these three MCs gave this simple beat a killer pulse. Shoulda made the music video into a 007 type short film
No kendrick is the shit
Kendrick is the shit but so is 50 Cent. In my mind this is no question 50 Cent’s track not Kendrick’s. Not only did he have the better verse but he provided another top notch hook effortlessly.
That was pretty decent. Nothing all that fantastic though. I actually hope it doesn’t make the album.
Because I’m a 50 Cent fan. And I want his album to be fantastic. I don’t want to be disappointed. As a fan, I probably can’t handle another disappointment. I defend 50 as much as I can but its clear that his passion in music has died out quite a bit. I mean, when he wants, he can make great tracks like “My Life”. “Major Distribution” was solid, and “Financial Freedom” was nice too. But this isn’t really a song I’d want to hear on a 50 Cent song that he’s worked on for 3 years with the biggest and most talented producers. I want something big. Something thematic. Something that will be unforgettable. Maybe that’s too much to ask for though…
hey murder by numbers was nice. even tho ScHoolboy had the best verses
Haha. U funny man, always trying to underhand 50 Cent. Schoolboy Q did not body that mixtape let alone that track. Lol.
whoa there homie. Can i speak to you is hella dope. Q went ham on that shit
It is hella dope but c’mon now u think Schoolboy Q’s bars top the whole mixtape by 50 Cent? U can’t be serious.
Listen to 50 Cent’s hook this is thematic. U’re judging too early tthis is set up to be 007-esque. Watch when the actual video drops it’ll be more complex than the preview made it seem. There’s a reason Kendrick and Kidd Kidd approached it like they did.
I think this was way better than major distribution
50 cent n kendrick killed it, overall a good song in my book! shit, I think kidd kidd did good on this too, the thing about kidd kidd is that his lyrics aren’t bad but his voice isn’t a rapping voice.
I think this beat didn’t complement Kidd Kidd’s flow but I don’t know about his voice not being a rapping voice. Lol. U heard ‘New Warleans’ with Kidd Kidd and Juvenile? Check this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtU6KeBLlFo
shit is refreshin.. but why does kidd kidd always sound off beat tho?
Anyone know who produced this? sounds alot like kendrick lamar’s – she needs me
This that shit rite here!
Kidd kidd sux
Whyre you defending him? Kidd Kidd actually does suck. There is no bright future in sight for this artist. It doesnt matter if his lyris are decent or not. He can’t ride a beat for his life. And his voice is his biggest setback. He also has this weird flow that sometimes puts him off beat. Look at 2 Chainz or Juicy J or even Tyga. Horrible artists, but are successful. Why? Cause they can ride a hot beat. They can make you nod your head while talking bullshit. Kidd Kidd makes you want to press the next song. It’s the truth. You may not agree, but I don’t understand how any sane hip hop artist can call themselves a “Kidd Kidd fan”.
Juicy is a beast
Juicy is dope. I like the whole Taylor Gang roster tho I think King Los & Queen Roe need to become a group. One needs to split from their record label or both. Chevy is heavy underrated too.
Chevy is real nice (pause). Los and Wiz gotta collab comin soon, Los tweeted bout it
Looking forward to it
Well that was directed at @Los21:disqus but I see u @Jaffar have a problem too. Look Kidd Kidd’s flow is filthy clean like many southern rappers. Kidd Kidd can definitely spit to a beat, just like Wayne can. I find it funny that you’re so quick to critique Kidd Kidd on this when you could easily critique Kendrick on it as well. 50 Cent however having the slick flow he does that has set him a part from nearly everyone else in Hip-Hop came at it perfectly. Regarless tho what I always find funny is how much fans and haters alike love to pick apart 50 Cent’s songs. I don’t see anyone critique other rappers to the degree they do 50 Cent. I think this is single worthy and I think Kidd Kidd is going to BIG sooner than u two think. I’m guessing you both hate Lil’ Wayne but guess what he’s a superstar.
Superstar or not he still sux. Jus like kidd kidd
Kendrick verse on repeat over here
Same laughing at his not so subtle Gaga references in that verse. Guess he’s not a gent haha
Lol oh yea that whole set up was cold
50 gave us one pure classic. Get rich. The run is over. None and I mean none of his new tracks can recapture that feel. Without that feel 50 is a mediocre lyricist @ best. With that being said this will get a few months on the ipod. That about it. 50 is a legend in the game though. What black man put up #’s like that. F.Y.I This opinion comes from somebody who has purchased every 50 album just off the heat of the first.
EVERY LEGENDARY ARTIST DROPS ONE ALBUM THAT DEFINES THEM AND ALOT OF SOLID EFFORTS AFTER. The run is not over yet you playing it for a couple months are ur iPod is a testament to that. You all think it’s over because he isn’t selling 10 million anymore but no one is. Eminem’s ‘Recovery’ has sold 3 million in the states since 2010. 50 Cent maybe not as BIG as he once was but he is one of the TOP 5 most popular rappers in Hip-Hop today. If you’re a 50 Cent fan u know he focused on movies after ‘Before I Self Destruct’. The guy will be in 2 or 3 movies that will be in THEATRES in 2013 because of this 3 year grind after the BISD tour ended. What other Hip-Hop artist is going to be in that many big movie releases this year? Nil. Wait til he drops the actual Official Music Video drops and u’ll see what I’m saying.
Top 5 most popular in hip hop today? No way in HELL bruh.
Name 5 MCs bigger than 50 Cent right now.
Disclaimer: I’m not saying all of these rappers are better than 50, I’m saying they are bigger. When I say bigger I’m not talking about overall business ventures, but success in making music people buy and play.
Lil’ Wayne (Pause)
I guess time will tell, they all are dropping LPs this year.
Wayne, Drake, Ye, Jay-Z, Eminem, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick, Rick Ross, Cole, Jeezy.
BISD sold 160,000 first week and that was in ’09. His buzz is WAY lower now than it was then. I am confident 50 will not move more than 150,000 copies first week this time around. Every one of the artists I named sold more than 160 or 150 last time they came out. Hell, even 2CHAINZ sold 147,000! Come on man. Let this go.
I think 50 Cent’s buzz is up from 09 and Minaj, Kendrick, Rock Ross, Cole, and Jeezy def would not outsell 50 Cent.
You can check the video out on this is 50, he just dropped it this afternoon. I’ve never based whether an artist is hot off of sales. LIke I said I’ve purchased every 50 album and every album has had some cuts on it. When I talk about the “run”, I’m referring to that time in 50′s career when I felt like everything he dropped was fire. I like major distribution and “we up” but the point is I won’t be banging either record a year from now like I will many men, patiently waiting etc. You feel me. It’s like remembering when Kobe put up 81 and watching him now. He’s still good, but he’ll never be the player he was again. I’ve watched it happen in hip-hop time and time again. Dmx is a prime example. I still fuck with 50 just not on the same level. I like his movies more than I like most of his new music. You feel me?
It’s not the official video on Defsounds it says it’s the video before the video. If u still buy 50 Cent’s LP’s u still fuck with him on the same level. But I feel u he’s not your favorite MC anymore like it sounds like he once was.
50 is a successful business man but he is musically irrelevant. The only reason this song is worth a listen is Kendrick Lamar.
