The Young Money camp will release a follow-up to the 2009 compilation album, We Are Young Money.

Earlier today, Young Money COO Cortez Bryant announced that the YM camp that will be releasing a new compilation album, Rise Of An Empire, that is set for a March 11th release.

Bryant spoke on the release:

“This compilation is a very special release for the label. We Are Young Money helped launch the careers of our first generation of acts with Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Tyga. Even though we’ve been honored with accolades as a company, our hunger hasn’t diminished or dwindled. We’re hungrier than ever, and we’re still building.”

And Lil Wayne chimed in:

“There’s nothing like it when the whole family gets together in the studio. YMCMB is stronger than ever, and everybody was truly on fire. We’re all blessed to be a part of this incredible Empire as it continues to thrive. I can’t wait for what’s next. Keep watching.”

You can expect Rise Of An Empire to feature Young Money artists such as Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Tyga, Shantelle, Lil Twist, Gudda Gudda, and others.

Along with the announcement of the album, the first single, “We Alright” featuring Lil Wayne, Birdman and Euro, was released. You can listen to the single below.

To add, Drake’s new single “Trophies” will also be included on the album.
