Tonight, during the filming of the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards, Young Jeezy and Rick Ross got into an altercation, which led to shots being fired in the parking lot.

As reported by TMZ, Young Jeezy and Rick Ross exchanged words backstage and began pushing each other, which led to BET security, and bodyguards for each of the rappers breaking them up.

Sources on the scene told TMZ that after the fight was broken up, a member of Rick Ross’ entourage pulled a gun out while in the parking lot of the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center where the awards show is being filmed, and shots were fired.

As of this time there is no word on if anyone was hurt or any arrests were made.

Jeezy and Ross were allowed to stay in the building for the remainder of the awards show after the backstage brawl.

JasFly who was in attendance took to Twitter and gave her take on what went down, and it looks like from Jas’ point of view a shoving match went down in the parking lot as well.

JasFly also noted that a gunman was arrested, which caused the venue to be shut down, and once it reopened shots were fired and the building was put on lock-down once again.

Alright, here’s what happened: ross & Jeezy got into an actual shoving match in the parking lot. A man w/a gun was arrested. The building was temporarily shut down but is now reopened and Ross took the stage as planned. Not sure where Jeezy is. Shots have been fired. Just heard in the security walkie. We’re in lock down again. They’ve held the Lighty tribute.At least one person has been arrested but the lockdown is over.
