As Def Sounds previously reported, back in September, Young Buck called his close friend Charlie P from prison and gave the fans an update on how he was handling his time behind bars, and proceeded to freestyle over the phone. Since then, the rapper has been awfully quiet and there has been no updates from him. Now, we find out why there hasn’t been any recent status of incarceration updates from him as Young Buck explains why there has been a lack of communication with his fans over the past couple of months.
According to a tweet that came from Young Buck’s Twitter page, the former G-Unit rapper found himself in hot water while behind bars for a freestyle he dropped over the phone.
The tweet from Buck’s page read:
Dear Fans, I was in the hole 4 the last 2 months, so it’s been slow on the mail, so Im back to writing y’all this week! I appreciate y’all!
And then a tweet came from Wendy Day revealing the reason for Buck’s stint in solitary:
Ladies & Gentlemen, Young Buck is finally out of the hole for doing a freestyle over the phone for y’all.
Young Buck is currently incarcerated at the Yazoo City Federal Prison in Southern Mississippi serving out an 18-month sentence for gun possession charges. The rapper is slated to be released from prison in early 2014, and will be on supervised probation for 3 years following his release.
