Wrestling seemingly got real for a few moments tonight during WWE’s Monday Night Raw as MMG rapper Wale got into an altercation with a fan who was taunting him during the event.

As reported by TMZ, tonight, during Monday Night Raw, Wale punched a heckler in the face.

The report states that witness to the fight, Jawn Murray from AlwaysAlist.com said that Wale was sitting right behind the announcers table, enjoying the show, when a fan seated near him began taunting Wale, which led the MMG rapper to get up from his seat and start to swinging on the fan, as he stated:

“The next thing I know Wale is putting the smackdown on dude. Punched him dead in his face. It was a full fight.”

He adds that…

“Security rushed over and broke up the fight, and took everyone involved into a hallway. Moments later, Wale returned to his seat and began snacking on popcorn like nothing happened.”

Jawn Murray was live tweeting when the fight went down, and you can view the series of tweets below:

SN: When I first saw the report, I thought it was all staged for WWE, but according to TMZ, it seems to be real by the way security rushed in to break it up, but stay tuned to DS and we’ll keep you updated if it turns out to be staged.

Update: Here’s the Twitter comment and footage, which really doesn’t show that much, of Wale jumping on the fan:
