Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka sent out a tweet earlier in the week saying that he’s had enough of the of the fake in rap game and planned on retiring at the end of the year.
Waka tweeted:
“This game 2 fake I quit rap after this year”
The Brick Squad member kept the tweets coming today, as he posted:
“F-ck these rappers Word 2 the other-side Y’all time is thin”
RumorFix caught up with Waka’s Mother/Manager Debra Antney and she confirmed Waka is contemplating quitting the rap game, as she said:
“He talking about quitting. He’s sick of this. We all are.”
Antney added:
“We’re all disgusted with this stuff. You can’t trust people.”
Antney continued to say:
“Waka isn’t touring or recording right now and that they are reestablishing their relationship as mom and son — as opposed to manager and musician.”
Update: Waka calls into Atlanta’s V103 and explained his reason for wanting to retire.
