As Def Sounds previously reported, Vado left Interscope Records to sign with DJ Khaled‘s We The Best imprint, but it was never officially confirmed. Now, Vado confirms signing to DJ Khaled, and also reveals talks of a possible super group with Lloyd Banks, Juelz Santana, Fabolous and himself.

During a recent interview with ThisIs50’s Jack Thriller, Vado spoke on talks of a possible super group with Lloyd Banks, Juelz Santana, and Fabolous, and the NY rapper also confirmed signing to DJ Khaled.

When asked about he, Fabolous, Lloyd Banks, and Juelz Santana forming a super group, Vado replied:

We was talking about it, me, Banks, Elz (Juelz Santana), they came to my birthday party at Perfections. They’re my brothers, they showed love, and for them to be from New York… and not look at me as the challenger, so it’s all love; we like brothers.

He adds:

So we were talking about it, like “let’s be a super group” and just smash it. So me, Elz, and Banks were on the phone together. We were with it, [but it just didn’t happen]… It can definitely happen; I just feel like, me personally, I have to stand right with the rest of them, [before we get things going].

As the interview continued, Vado confirmed signing to DJ Khaled:

It’s going down, it’s about to be on and crazy. We [me and Khaled] got the same vision, and that’s to go straight to the top and stay there. He wanna get me there, and I’m gonna let him.
