Rumors are running rampant that “All Gold Everything” hit maker, Trinidad James has inked a $2 million deal with Def Jam after only rapping for less than a year, 11 months to be exact, and only releasing a single EP.

As reported by XXL, a bidding war was taking place, at James’ recent NYC show at Santos Party House, as Joie Manda, Chris Atlas and Barry Weiss were in the house representing Def Jam Records and Mike Keyser from Atlantic Records, which was eventually won by Def Jam, and they have signed raps newest sensation.
