Although Lil Wayne took to the airwaves earlier this week to apologized to the city of Miami for his rant, and said it has nothing to do with the city, it’s all about sports. Trick Daddy’s not hearing it as he lets Lil Wayne know it’s not alright to disrespect his city.

During a recent interview with Miami’s 99 Jamz, Trick Daddy addresses Lil Wayne’s disrespect of the city of Miami.

The Mayor of Miami states:

I don’t care who be offended by what I say. I rep my city and want nobody disrespecting it. When their [Lil Wayne, Birdman] lease is up they can leave. We have to to stick together as radio, as artists, as DJ’s and fans who love the music as a whole. That’s what makes a community.

Trick continues:

Me and Luke been talking; we been getting together. We’re going to figure out some kind of way to get this thing back on the road… We grew up in a city were people lived through three category 5 hurricanes, and two major riots. I can’t go no where else, this is my home.

Trick Daddy adds:

From now on, when they get in, they’re going to have to start checking in, and they’re going start checking in by turning on 99 JAMZ and listening to us, what we got to say. They taking all our beats and rapping over them anyways.
