The following is the official cover art and tracklist for Wiz Khalifa‘s upcoming “Cabin Fever 2” mixtape, which is set for an October 16 release (at 3:00PM ET).
I liked Cabin Fever 1, not saying it was amazing and the beats were pretty similar but I liked the sound of most of the songs. Good shit to drink to and just let it bang. But this only has 3 songs w/o features? Chevy’s straight, but who wants to hear Juicy J and French Montana, and a bunch of dudes I’ve never heard of? Play Wiz’s new mixtape and half of the time your listenin to weed carriers. It’s impossible to make a great, conceptual, or deep album w/ that many features. Can people name any great albums w/ like more than four or five features? Not counting singers on hooks? Maybe Prince Paul- A Prince Among Thieves or All Eyez on Me.
MMLP, Illmatic (only 10 songs too).
i agree tho, too many ‘who the fuck is that’ features
I see wut u mean with MMLP, but at least it was his crew D12 and guys that were close with Dre and on tour with him like RBX, Snoop, Xzibit, Nate Dogg. And these guys were already established rappers, who the hell is Problem and J.R. Denato?
But Illmatic??? Isn’t that album especially famous for having only one guest verse. Obviously AZ with the legendary verse on Life’s a Bitch. No other features tho.
i think youre thinking of Ready to Die. Q-Tip, AZ, Pete Rock and Grand Wiz are feat on Illmatic, but i think only AZ has a verse the rest are on the hooks. but theres also The Chronic. Reasonable Doubts got a few. i agree historically albums with less features are better i was jus pointing out a few exceptions
Yea ur right we’re definitely on the same page here. I just can’t stand when track 1,2,and 3 of an album have features and the dude whose album it is has only like 1 verse, they can’t build any momentum. Then the next song will be like 2 verses with 3 minutes of some R&B singer. The first few tracks should be the artist getting all the shine then maybe mix in a feature or 2 or a posse cut. The Game’s RED Album is the glaring example that I think of. The first solo track was #8 Rickey with 2 Dre interludes mixed in. Then more features, then Lloyd, Mario, Chris Brown and Nelly Furtado all ruining the end of the album.
Not on the same track. Shit I don’t even think in the same city. One of yas glamorize shitty Wiz, thee other probably knows Wiz’s actual place in hip-hop. Riding that short bus.
‘weed carriers’. ahahahahahahahahahahaha
NO LEX??? WTF
Smoke smoke smoke. There now you’ve heard this mixtape.
