Earlier this year, it was reported that New York rapper Tim Dog died due to complications with diabetes. Now, it turns out it that it all may be a scam as it is believed that the “F*ck Compton” rapper faked his death to avoid his debt.

According to WREG Memphis, A Mississippi woman, who was scammed by Tim Dog, real name, Timothy Blair, has come forward to make the claim that the rapper faked his death to avoid a $2 million debt that came from a judge’s order due to various counts of fraud.

Due to the woman’s claim, A Desoto County, MS judge has issued an arrest warrant for Tim Dog who supposedly passed away in February.

Desoto County, MS Prosecutor Steven Jubera says if Tim Dog is alive, he’s pulling the biggest scam in Hip Hop history, and if so, he’s also going to jail.

Jubera says there is no record of the rapper’s death:

I need a death certificate showing that’s he’s dead because as far as I’m concerned, he’s alive.

He adds:

Nobody said where he died, nobody said where he was buried, which is very odd for an obituary.

One of Tim Dog’s long time friends, Ced Gee, spoke to WREG Memphis and said he refused to speak at the rapper’s funeral because there was no proof that he was dead, and that Tim Dog’s family could not produce a death certificate. Gee also believes after he refused to speak, the funeral never happened.

A private investigator has also confirmed an active address for Tim Dog in Atlanta as late as April, and he has allegedly been dead since February 14th.

Prosecutor Jubera says he will drop the arrest warrant, if Tim Dog’s family can come show proof of his death.
