The 2004 Maybach 57 which has a retail value of 350k from Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Otis” video was purchased in just minutes at a March 8th auction.

The Mayback was auctioned off for $60,000, from the New York Contemporary Art Evening auction, which is far less than the 100-150k the car was expected to auction off for.

Reasoning believed behind the price decline is that he Maybach was sold as a piece of art rather than a working vehicle.

Part of the proceeds from the sale benefited Save the Children to provide food for children in Africa.
