Top Dawg Entertainment had a huge 2013 without a single album releasing through the imprint. Now, TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith asks the question, What will happen in 2014 when six album’s are released via the label?
Over the weekend, Top Dawg announced that his label will release six albums in the upcoming year.
Top Dawg (@DangerooKipawaa) tweeted:
As of press time, the only album that is confirmed to drop through TDE in 2014 is Schoolboy Q’s major label debut, Oxymoron, which is currently set for a February 25th release.

Back in October, Ab-Soul revealed that the follow up album, Black Lip Pastor, to his 2012 release, Control System, was just about complete.
With that said, we can expect new albums from ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul, and the TDE roster includes four other artists, Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, SZA and Isaiah Rashad, so we can speculate that an album will drop from every member of the camp or five artists will drop an album, and the highly anticipated Black Hippy album will finally be released.
The latest album that was released via the TDE imprint was Kendrick Lamar’s major label debut, good kid, m.A.A.d city, which dropped on October 22, 2012 and garnered critical acclaim along with seven Grammy nominations.
Keep it locked to DS through 2014, and we will keep you updated when more news is revealed about the upcoming releases through the TDE camp.
