T.I’s forthcoming album, Trouble Man, which was originally slated for a September 2nd release has been put on hold until an unknown date due to the fact that he wants to perfect the album. Although, no new release date has been set, Tip hopes to get the album out by the end of the year,

In a recent interview with MTV News, T.I. explains the reasoning for holding off on the release of Trouble Man:

“Me being the perfectionist that I am, I’m still tweaking and fine-tuning, trying to perfect all parts of this project.”

T.I. adds:

“I did, like, 124 songs, and I’ve narrowed it down to 86 now, so now I have to continue to narrow down and continue to make it better. I’m not trying to paint myself into a corner with a date. I’m trying to make sure that the project is the absolute best it could be, and I’m trying to get it down by the end of the year.”
