Scarface, the front man of the legendary Houston rap group Geto Boys, which consists of Willie D, Bushwick Bill and himself, addresses the possibility of releasing the first Geto Boy’s album since 2005.

During a recent interview with HardKnockTV, Scarface spoke on the respect he has for Rick Rubin, and reveals what it would take for him to record a new Geto Boys album.

Scarface speaks on Rick Rubin, who worked heavily with the Geto Boys in the past:

I got a lot of respect for Rick and what he did, what he’s doing. And what he means to Hip Hop. I could have just been reading it wrong. Maybe somebody said that sh*t just trying to be funny or some sh*t, but somebody said that Rick Rubin didn’t like my sh*t.

He adds:

Every time I see Rick Rubin it’s like we all cool and sh*t. So, I’m assuming that he might have did like my sh*t and then again maybe not. I love his sh*t. I love Rick Rubin. Like I said, I love what he did for Hip Hop. Rick Rubin was a part of the program, in the early parts of it. He had those rock and roll type beats. Like the Beastie Boys. He should make another Beastie Boys type Hip Hop group.

While being on the subject of Rick Rubin, Face explains that he would record a new Geto Boys album if Rubin produces it:

You know what, if Rick Rubin would produce another Geto Boys album I’d do it. If Rick Rubin produced a Geto Boys album, not a song, a f*cking album. I’d do it. Otherwise, I ain’t doing it.
