Rakim Working On 2013 Album, Currently Recording Material With Pharrell Williams

According to multiple reports, legendary emcee Rakim told journalists following a performance earlier this month in Detroit that he is currently working on a new album.

The Detroit Free Press reports that Rakim is currently in the studio with legendary producer Pharrell Williams working on some material for the proposed 2013 album.

    True, it’s not like he follows trends with his beats. His shit is way out there and innovative. Drop it like its hot, commercial as it may be, but who else would make a beat like that?
