As Pusha addressed his beef with Lil Wayne, he spoke the same sentiment as he did in a previous interview with DJ Whoo Kid, as he revealed the reason for dissing Wayne on Luda’s “Tell Me What They Mad For”:
You gotta remember where I stand in this position, they got like 10’s of millions of fans, I don’t got that many, so I’m like fighting myself out of a corner, but I’m niiiiice. I can rap, so I just gotta do what I got to do. You just got to shoot everything, everybody! That’s just how I look at it.
Push spoke on how he feels about Lil Wayne’s new music, as he said:
No, I don’t like Wayne’s music like right now, it’s not good. And you’re talking about somebody who got Carter II, III.
And I downloaded IV, but I had to get that joint off my joint, but I’m not into the new stuff.
As the G.O.O.D. Music rapper continued, he gave Drake props:
Drake be rhyming, he busting, he be getting busy. He says his piece, and I like that.
Pusha T is currently gearing up to release his new mixtape Wrath of Caine, which will be followed by his new solo album, My Name Is My Name.
