After being the most sought after unsigned rapper, and involved in a major bidding war with Def Jam, Interscope, Warner and Jive in 2006, Papoose finally signed a much talked about $1.5 Million deal with Jive after they beat out all other labels.

With the big deal in hand; Papoose planned to release his debut album Nacirema Dream with Jive, but was shelved and subsequently dropped a year later without releasing his album, now plans on releasing the LP on his own imprint.

After 5 years without releasing an album, Papoose announced that he will release his debut on his own label Honor B4 Money Records.

With the announcement of releasing Nacirema Dream independently, Papoose names the features for the project as he enlists Erykah Badu, Jadakiss, Jim Jones and Thugacation, also appearing on the album who have already been featured on leaked tracks are Lloyd Banks and Busta Rhymes who appeared on the “Party Bout To Pop” remix and Remy Ma who appeared on “Bucket Naked” and “Donk Jumping.”

Although an announcement of the Nacirema Dream has been made, a release date for it has not been set as of press time.
