Reports are coming in that Andre 3000 and Big Boi will reunite with L.A. Reid to release next Outkast album through Sony’s  Epic Records.

As The Hollywood Reporter reports, former Def Jam Chairman L.A. Reid, who took over Sony’s Epic Records this past July, will be bringing in some of the artists he signed earlier in his career when he was with LaFace/Jive, as he is in the process of signing Outkast to his new label.

The Reporters website states:

“L.A. Reid has been busy erasing the company’s tarnished image and rebuilding its roster, which will soon include Outkast and Ciara. Reid has a long history with both acts, who were originally signed to his LaFace Records.”

As previously reported by Def Sounds, Andre 300 and big Boi will both release solo albums towards then end of the year, and follow the solo projects up with the next Outkast album at the top of 2012.
