As Defsounds reported earlier this month, Pusha T denied previous rumors of him confirming that a new Clipse album was being worked on with The Neptunes. Now, the other half of The Clipse, No Malice, confirms that in fact there is not a new Clipse album in the works.

During a recent interview with Fader, No Malice puts all rumors of a new Clipse album to rest as he confirms that it’s not happening.

No Malice states:

It’s not going down. I don’t know where the rumor stems from. And I don’t know how this keeps coming back up—this isn’t the first time. But I would never play with the fans like that and act like something’s about to happen and it’s not.

As he continued, No Malice adds that it can happen, but that he and Pusha are at two different points in there life at this time:

I’m very certain that it could happen. A Clipse album could be done. There would be nothing like it. At this point in time, my brother and I attack music from two different perspectives. We can pull off anything together and crush it, but right now I’m just somewhere else and he’s doing his thing.

Although he’s not ready, No Malice points out that his brother is all in and ready to record the album:

I have heard Pusha express that he really wants to do a Clipse album. He’s ready one hundred percent!

Late last year, No Malice explained what’s holding him back from reuniting with his brother, Pusha T, for a Clipse reunion album. You can read that article [here]. Also, earlier this month, No Malice stated that he still holds hope that Pusha would come around and they could record a new Clipse album with God in mind. You can read that [here].
