As the final sale numbers for Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday released today, Miss Minaj talks to MTV about moving 375k copies in her first week.

I feel this weird calm feeling. I’m just so grateful and kind of still in shock. These numbers haven’t been put up since 1998, says Minaj in reference referring to Lauryn Hill’s The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill, which moved 423k copies in its opening sales week.

Miss Barbie adds, It just makes me feel proud of my team, proud of my fans, everyone who has had something to do with my dreams. Finally, we are seeing this dream come to fruition. It feels incredible.

Now that Pink Friday saw its light on the shelf,  the Young Money rapstress will concentrate on pushing the project: Now I can promote the body of work. I feel like I gave birth to my baby; now I’m gonna teach it how to walk and how to talk and spoil the baby.

To kick off 2011,  Pink Friday tracks “Fly” featuring Rihanna, and “Girls Fall Like Dominoes,” will receive visuals, as will Moment 4 Life featuring Drake and and Save Me.
