Last night in Texas, St. Louis rapper Nelly was detained at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca while agents searched his tour bus. During the search of the rappers bus, heroin, weed and a loaded firearm was discovered.

As reported by TMZ, Nellys bus was stopped and searched because a police dog detected the presence of drugs.

While performing the search of the tour bus, police found 36 small baggies of heroin, over 10 pounds of weed, and a loaded .45 caliber pistol.

At the time of the raid of the bus there were seven passengers including Nelly, who were all detained an eventually let go except one of the men, Brian Keith Jones, who admitted the drugs and the gun were his, and was subsequently taken into custody and placed under arrest.

Nelly was released without being charged.
