Nas Allegedly Owes Over $1 Million In Unpaid Taxes

After dealing with federal property taxes resulting in a $6 million debt, rapper Nas is currently in the midst of yet another IRS-related quarrel.

According to celebrity-gossip website TMZ, the State of Georgia has filed legal documents looking to collect over $1 million from Nas for the years 2006-2010.

The report claims the Georgia Department of Revenue is commanding Live Nation garnish Nas‘ wages earned during his ongoing tour with Lauryn Hill.

Taxes are no joke, and are confusing as shit sometimes. Imagine commuting to NY from NJ to work. Where do you pay income taxes? Where you live, or where you work? Now imagine going on a national or worldwide tour. I don’t blame Nas for not being on top of the tax system. I blame him for not having a certified business accountant on top of his shit.
