As Def Sounds previously reported, Cash Money rapper Mystikal has violated terms of his probation and was sentenced to return back to prison. With Mystikal slated to return to prison next week, May 14th, he took the stage for his last performance before starting his 90 day sentence.

For his final performance before starting his bid, Mystikal hit the stage during New Orleans, Louisiana’s 2012 Jazz Fest with a live band that included Galactic’s Ben Ellman on sax.

Mystikal’s sentence stems from a probation violation for a February arrest on a misdemeanor charge of domestic abuse battery.

The New Orleans rapper will have to serve 81 days of his 90 day sentence as the judge is giving him credit for the nine days served, which he was detained during his Feb 22nd arrest.
