After serving three years in prison on gun charges, Mobb Deep’s [twitter=PRODIGYMOBBDEEP]Prodigy[/twitter] is officially a free man as he wrapped up his bid today.
Prodigy didn’t waste any time jumping on the twitter craze as a picture of the rapper hit the social networking site as he was released. Although Prodigy no longer signed to G-Unit, 50 Cent was one of the first people to retweet the photo welcoming his former artist home.
The New York rappers prison sentence stemmed from a 2006 arrest, where he was pulled over after making an illegal U-turn, during the traffic stop authorities found a handgun in his vehicle.
Prodigy will waste no time getting his name back in the spotlight as he has a new book, My Infamous Life: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep’s Prodigy, releasing on April 19th.
