According to reports, Prodigy and Havoc are just days away from signing a new deal and just months off from releasing their next album which will drop through their new label home.

Mobb Deep’s Havoc recently spoke to XXL about when the new album is coming and what else the duo has in store. When asked about when the album is dropping Hav said:

“Hopefully if not [this year], early next year.”

Havoc also spoke on a new mixtape:

“We’re gonna be doing a mixtape and stuff like that. We’re gonna be dropping a new song in a few days. It’s gonna be nice!”

Earlier this week, as Def Sounds reported, Prodigy spoke to Bootleg Kev about what to expect from the QB group in the near future:

“We’ll be dropping the single for the [new] album soon. That’s the only thing we’re focusing on right now, the Mobb Deep album — it’ll be [available] before the new year. We ain’t letting nothing out the bag [with features] – just know, it’s that hard sh*t…[Alchemist], Havoc, the home team, you know? Mobb Deep, you know how we always do it.”

Mobb Deep was previously signed to G-Unit Records and released their last album Blood Money in 2006 through the imprint.

Def Sounds will keep you updated when Mobb Deep’s deal is finalized and their new label home is revealed.
